    You can finish both ways even if you don't push the heal ( step on the gas) it might hurt you a bit but I bet it will hurt them much more.

    Eddie takes that particular counter to the calf crank as a sign of panic. He will use both of his hands to pull the calf crank as fast as possible if someone attempts the move you are describing.
