Here´s one Lockdown escape with René Gracie! the problem is that since Rener don´t know the deep technical aspect of the Lockdown he miss some vital points.
Get me right folks!! Rener Gracie is really a awesome jitz player and I like a lot of his work! But he doesn´t master the Lockdown, the video is actually one of the best I have seen.
1.Swinging to the side is not very easy in a Pinned situation. (*)
2.Keeping your uper body centered on the guy is a hugh misstake (*)
3.Under hook cross face is not favorable position for this pass.
4.with no control over the arm on the passing side make it easy for the guy to turn against you.
5.If the person can change base you did something terrible wrong.
(* I will make a video called Mastering the Lockdown where I will talk about these positions)
