Nice to see someone on that level using the rubber guard. Im sure he nails it in practice a lot, but in his closest attempt at pulling off an oma plata, he didnt have elbow control which allowed Mendez to slip out. Anyone elses thoughts?

now that i watched it, im not as happy
he has great flexibility, but mostly used mission control, and almost always for defense. he could have tried some more attacks and maybe caught mendes.
