Maybe they apply but dont get hired. Like that guy that sued Hooters for not hiring male waiters. Maybe hiring gay guys keeps them from getting sued and fits some sort of psychological thing. Maybe they learned in focus groups or surveys or something that stereotypical manly men make flyers feel nervous or threatened.

They do though. I applied before in my early 20's. Free travel anywhere in the continental US and i'm surrounded by hot stewardesses? Hell yeah! I didn't get hired. I think I was too big for the job.
