Hello everyone! I have an awesome comp im competing in Saturday morning. Of course, my injury bug hit again. I am already recovering from a bad shoulder. And now.. I screwed up my foot. Luckily nobody I am competing against actively uses the forums, so maybe I can get some help!
During our session today I hit an inverted triangle. The guy in my triangle tried to roll fast a couple times in an effort to loosen it and he rolled over the top of my foot with all of his weight and some of mine too. The top of my foot is now swollen, and its pretty painful.
Is anyone here familiar with pain in the top of the foot, and what I can apply/take to help me reduce pain/swelling possibly? I can't drop out of the comp because I have been training really hard and our gym is hosting it. But I am in serious discomfort.
I was hoping since its a pretty common jiu jitsu injury (my 3rd time now), that its possible some of you have some really helpful tricks to loosen it up and reduce swelling/pain. All the pain is top of the foot. Mostly right above the ankle. Its hard to walk today now that my adrenaline is back down completely.
Thanks in advance
