That's the thing though, you have to release that hook to either go for the sweep or bring it in for the coccoon, but sim knows that and is waiting for it.

sure but if you're applying upward pressure with your left hook when you release the right leg curl your opponent shouldn't be able to kick their right leg free when sweeping or going to full butterfly
