I love takedowns and throws. I think it was Coach Zog who I heard say that a proper takedown or throw should wind you up in side control our mount, so he considers them passes. Can't remember exactly, but I think it was him. Anyway, I'm a big fan of the progression of his mastery! Bottom game is killer and professional and his top game is looking that way too! Can't wait to see more videos!

Thank you Ross. Him at 18 (4 more years) is a scary thought! He likes to play with a posish until he's good at it. So far , its working! Who says "wrestling only confuses kids when it translates to jiu jitsu" ?! LOL

I wish I could do that work on one thing while rolling thing. My mind and body revolt against structure lol so I end up just flowing through positions. I'm starting to be able to that a little bit at a time though. I don't think it should be confusing at all! Wrestling is a fantastic base to have for jiu jitsu. It makes me a little jealous seeing him starting so young with it and mastering all these aspects. Damn kids these days
