Dump Truck

Possibly my best Twister/Truck entry is from bottom side control. The first part of my game that I developed was my 1/4 guard and 1/2 guard recovery. I got good at lockdown etc. so guys in my gym would almost always switch their hip to a judo side control to hide their leg from me (lol). Over time I developed an escape where I reach my foot up over their hip and sneak a hook in. Then I work to figure-four/lockdown that leg, and dump the opponent over onto his head with what ends up being an almost perfect twister finish. Because we started in side control and the opponent on top had an underhook, my arm is already behind his head for the finish.

I think I remember reading someone calling this technique a "Dump Truck" before? I love that as the name and fully support it. Does anyone know anything about this technique?

This is the "Judo Twister". This was in the first mastering the twister book and is still taught.

yeah i know this move or some similar move.
the dump truck sounds better and funnier.
but i guess judo twister makes sence too.

Geo showed the 'Dump Truck' at the 2014 North West No-Gi Training Camp. It was from Standing against a Seated opponent if I recall correctly.

The 'Truck Stop' has also been useful technique that Geo showed in conjunction with the 'Dump Truck'.

I use this from judo side and a knee cut, as the hip angles are similar.

started using it as an alternative to a sweep I do when Bmac started defending my sweep, I moved into this. I can usually hit one or the other live, I'll have to make a video of the other one. I've hit this in comp off the knee cut 4 times, and in class all the time. The subs are just candy, the sweep is money.

Dump Truck and Judo Twister are two completely different techniques from what I have seen.
