At HQ. he's legit, cool guy great top game. Very very intelligent guy he knows the fighting arts in detail. Also much stronger then expected. But then Steve Maxwell comes to his house to set up programs for him. Wanna bump your game up? Look through some of Steve's strength and conditioning dvds. You gotta remember Joe could train anywhere, but he choses to hang with us. If that's not validation I don't know what is.

Agreed, Steve Maxwell knows his stuff when it comes to strength and conditioning. He is also a black belt under Relson Gracie and is a former senior Pan American and World BJJ champion. I think he has something like 30+ years as fitness coach. Has trained some MMA fighters too. I highly recommend him if you want to take your conditioning to the next level.

On Joe's podcast he said he has been working on his guard game a lot so I guess he does acknowledge his need for improvement in that area. Don't be so critical homie lol. Don't you think it would suck to have everyone and their brother analyzing every little thing that you and your friends say just because you're on TV?
