I've had some pretty extensive conversations about this topic with my buddies and we decided that the best idea would be to fortify a costco from the inside, keep that shit on lockdown and you've got plenty of food and supplies to last you for at least long enough for all the zombies to die out haha.

whoa i didnt think about denver and its closer to me :P and it being a mile high would help but im still liking omaha and as for the 4x4 i got a chevy malibu that has problems going up hill lol so that aint gonna work

Denver might be the spot. It's a mile high and right in the middle of the country as far away as you can get from the oceans. Having a 4x4 vehicle with as many extra gallons of gas ready to go at all times would be smart.

First off Eddie you know part of my plan is guns, guns and oh yah....more guns. Have over 1000 rounds stocked up and buying more all the time. My family and I look at it in the same way, it may all be a bunch of BS, but it would be retarded not to have some kinda plan. You know just in case. I got a compound bow for x-mass ( in case ammo runs low) I have gottin pretty good with it already. Guy at the range asked me if I slept with it.LOL.

I agree from everything I have seen, LA or Cali in general is not the place you want to be. So plan on spending x-mass with me in 2010. I am in better place than most I think if talking about location. Away from any major cities and up in adirondack mountins. Away from flood zone's.

But lets face it, thats the crap shoot isn't it ? Hows the end going to come? Solar Flair..... we are all cooked, no matter where we are. Asteroid hit, same thing ......done. Polor shift, would give us some time to try to move to safe areas. But it would be a shit storm around us.... Would need to know how to survive and tools to do it.

I'm down with trying to form a 10th planet plan. I think we have tons of really smart guys that are involved with the system. We should put some serious thought into what we do. I have dreams of getting my black belt in the 10th planet system, but if I have to be a warlord in the 10th planet survival army......I can do that to.

Denver would be good, except if whatever happens triggers valcano's. Yellowstone blows and everything from mid point north America west, is covered under ash and lava. Mile high won't help that close to eruption.

Yes of course, if something hits us like a massive solar flare or an asteroid odds are that we will all die instantly. But if something goes down where there are still lots of survivors I think the plan should be to drive to Denver. It could take a few days of driving but it's Friday and you ain't got a job ....hhmm maybe if we're super hard core we can all pitch in like 10 bucks a month to rent a wharehouse in Denver and turn it into a survival fortress of some sort, Hhhmm just thoughts
