Cut you nails

I check my students frequently for the length of the finger nails.

Yeah I get cuts sometimes from that. My nails are smoooth.

I got a huge gash on my leg from long toe nail. Clip that shit its fucking gross!.

I cut my nails last night Renato. You influence me on more then just switching to Gi.

Once, a student of mine named Rudra sliced my forehead with his really long and jagged toe nail. No joke.

i had to do something ive never had to do before...
i had to pull a student to the side and send him home and told him he HAD to shower brush his teeth and wear deodorant before coming to class.
He smelled so bad that no one wanted to get on the mat with him, and avoided the area where he was.
the guy is only 18...but good god, you gotta know you stink at some point- right?
they started calling him "oscar"...poor kid.
i was incredibly embarrassed for him

No washing my clothes and not cutting my nails is a huge part of my game. It's 2011...you have to have an edge.
