To Whom It May Concern,

There is a reason why there are two different names. I George, have been paying for access to the site for our group here in Albuquerque, NM. Andrew has been training us for a while because he bases his skill set off of the 10thplanetjj system. He has been doing this free of cost for our entire group for a while. We all are from different schools and still go to him for improvement because of his dedication and loyalties to us. He has even volunteered to coach us during tournaments and go over video in his spare time. He is the true meaning of the word mentor ... but he is alot more than that to me and my Marines that train under him here in ABQ.
In the Marines we honor, courage, and commitment is our ethos. I feel as though I have to give this man something back for all the time and energies has expended in the name of our improvement in the Jui Jitsu game. I will be leaving the area shortly due to military commitments and want to ensure I repay him with something that could help him to his future endeavors. This is my way of saying thank you; I hope the powers that be can over look this detail when making the final call on his rank.

Usually, when i watch five minutes of a video, most of the time I want my five minutes back. But that demonstration was 5 minutes well spent, and I might watch a few more times. Very nicely done, dude!

Semper Fi Gunny. And good luck to you Andrew, the technique video was fun to watch and also thank you for helping others train by volunteering your time. It's so hard to find good training partners let alone instructors at a lot of these remote bases and I wish there were more dedicated individuals like it sounds that you are. You're destroying those tournaments, must be doing something right...

He ran though a good amount of tech in the video, I could point out a few things that needed tweaking but nothing horrendous. I think he's def Blue belt level, IMHO, but just needs a little more 10th planet rep in competitions. Not questioning his loyalty to the system, but I think the reason repping in comps is important is it shows your loyalty publicly. Keeps it exclusive. But my opinion doesn't mean much because he's not my student, obviously Eddie's decision. He's on the right track though, keep it up!

One of the cons of living n Alaska. No chance in me ever gettin ranked this way. There is only one no gi competition in Alaska. Only 1 a year, thats it. I love to compete and want to compete, but cant because i live here. Jiu Jitsu is my life and i want to pursue it as my profession, but no chance here.

It was the same for me forever living in craptown Missouri... But now I've got st Louis and Springfield 10th planets to go to!
