Anon demanded the release of their prisoner, and they did it. I would disagree in saying that, I believe, the Cartel in fact is quite intimidated by Anonymous. Not knowing the identities of any of them, and knowing that anon has personal information on each member of Zeta (names, addresses, families, ect).. And Anon did a pretty good job of making it clear that they were willing to go for blood in this specific scenario. When your enemy is invisible, and knows everything about you.. It has a way of taking the fight out of you.

I don't believe that at all. anon has done work to support the occupy wallstreet movement, they even revealed the identity and personal info of the officer in NY that was going around beating people up. They have also shutdown websites of VISA, mastercard and paypal it would make no sense for the CIA to be part of stuff like that.
