10P Santa Fe goes to NAGA with 2 competitors, leaves with 3 golds and 2 silvers.

Myself and Luis Castillo (Weezy) came and competed at NAGA Phoenix today with Ruben coaching us.

Weezy took gold medals in teens expert no gi, teens blue belt, mens expert 130lbs no gi and a silver in mens expert 140lbs no gi divisions and I took silver in mens expert no gi.

Ruben got most of our matches on video and lots of pics so we'll post those as soon as he uploads them.

We had a great time and it was awesome meeting all the guys from 10P Phoenix and Yuma!

Didnt doubt you guys a bit. Well done. Gonna be a lot of hardware hanging in 10P Santa Fe. Well done Nate and Weezy. And I'm sure that Ruben's coaching was spot on

In Weezy's gi match, he faced the same kid he did in the teen's no gi division and the kid actually asked him, mid match, to not only not submit him, but to let him win so he could have a belt. And after the match, the kid's parents were talking shit to him saying he stalled out and that he "needs to learn jiu jitsu". Even though Weezy beat him 10-0. Parents are awesome.
