The first thing that caught my attention was Eddie himself. The positive energy that flows from the man is contagious, his outlook on life, his free spirit and innovation is captivating and it has seriously inspired and changed my life. I now do what I love for a living and I have Eddie to thank for the encouragement and motivation.
His vision of Jiu Jitsu, his unorthodox and innovative approach, along with the focus on constant growth of the system really drew me in. How he simplified a vast array of innovative techniques and transitions into a method of controlled chaos immediately attracted me to the 10th Planet System.
A lot of people talk about how Eddie has changed peoples lives, I'm not really sure he truly understands the impact hes had on some people.
I mean this from the bottom of my heart, I am a better person, coach, student and friend because of you Sensei.
You bring out the best in people, its far more important that any Jiu Jitsu technique you could ever teach. Thank you!
