Huge congrats to you. I as well have a daughter that is 7 now and also have a son that is 6. Two of the best things that ever happened, and watching them turn into ninjas is absolutley amazing. I am also expexting my 3 in September, which we found out is a girl.
The advice I can give you with what I have learned is the number 1 thing is patience, remember your kid only knows what you teach them. If they do something "wrong" it's only cause you didn't teach them what was right.
Parenting isn't a burden, its a time to share your enjoyment in life with another, one that looks to you for everything. Enjoy it man!
