Jake in the center of the cage, catches a kick from Nathan early and Jake goes for the takedown. Nathan jumps the guillotine, Jake trying to stay patient here, Nathan loses it and Jake passes to half guard, Nathan grabs the neck again, and Jake is slowly trying to work free, he does, tries to mount and Nathan sweeps hard, Jake trying for an arm triangle as they turn, but Nathan works free. Nathan now on top in full guard, trying to find posture, Jake avoiding too much damage here, punches from both fighters here, Jake trying to use the cage to get up, Nathan pulls him off, lands some good shots on top. More punches from Nathan, Jake trying to find a way free. Headbutt inside gets a standup and a warning for Nathan. Big combo lands for Jake, and he pushes Nathan to the cage, Jake tries to go under, but Nathan holds fast, pushes him to the cage. Nathan avoids a takedown from Jake, ends on top, but Jake quickly reverses and is on top now in full guard. Jake trying to pass, gets to half guard, Nathan using a guillotine again but Jake avoids, Nathan tries to muscle up and Jake rolls with him, ends up with Nathan’s back, both hooks in. Last ten seconds sees Jake in full back mount, both fighters punching.
Close round, DC has it 10-9 Jake McKnight, but could go for Wallner
Round 2
Center of the cage and a jab from Wallner before Jake thows leather, Wallner counters big and Jake shoots in for the takedown. He’s right into a tight standing guillotine from Wallner, and Jake is forced to tap!
