If you are a prison guard, could you tell me which you'd rather have in a prison fight, a shiv or a shank?

Also, I love that prison guard position in MTS, people in my club have been defending the whip up well, but I think they are opening themselves up for the prison guard. Are there any technique vids for that?

Speaking of that, I was under the impression that there was a treasure trove of technique videos that would be made available again to pro members in October. When will all those videos be made available. I assume things like the prison guard and techniques from the Twister book would be among them.

Maybe I'm just not good at navigating this site, but I searched for prison guard and homie control (looked on youtube too), but I can't find anything that describes the options.

I really think this can fill a need for me.

Any vids that anyone can post about this control would be very much appreciated.

There's a really interesting book I read on this kind of stuff called, "Meditations on Violence." It's a very very good read.

The latest episode of MTS has a prison guard transition. The clinch that's cinched under the near arm pit and over your opponent's far shoulder is homie control. Not sure but I may have forgot to mention the name in the video

if your a prison guard you use a night stick, and what is the difference between a shiv and a shank?

As I understand, shivs are for slashing and shanks are for stabbing.

then i would prefer a shank to reach the vital organs.
