A little concerned about my elbow...

I took a solid knee shot to the back of my elbow last Thursday and had my whole hand go numb and my forearm was sore all night. The next day my forearm wasnt sore but my ring and pinky fingers were numb. My pinky is still a little tingly but my tendon(maybe?) just on the inside of my arm from my tricep right behind my elbow is so tender if I apply pressure at I get that tingle shoot up my arm...any ideas?

I doubt a doctor will be able to do anything for you. Id say quit applying pressure to it. Problem solved

Sounds like some minor nerve issue mate, probably some minor swelling putting pressure on the nerve which should go away soon, try not to knock it and wear an elbow guard to protect it while your training until it calms down. I use a Throwdown guard which doesn't slip around that much when I'm rolling whenever my elbow flares up.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure your nerve was damaged from the impact on the knee hitting the back of your arm from the symptoms you've given. Just go see a doc, you probably have swelling in that damaged area while your body is trying to repair itself. He'll probably give you some cortisol....either that or...Coach Herzog is right =D.

Hope you get it sorted soon whatever it is bro. Regular icing etc in the meantime can't hurt though. :-)

I got a similar injury about 4-5 monthes ago. Its nerve damage from a toe that kicked into a tender gap between the joints. My ring and pinky fingers shot a tingling pain throughout the half of my forearm. I'm still having trouble doing pushups from certain angles. I diagnosed myself and I took nothing to help it heal. Just try not to use it much, which will make training difficult.
