Dan Hardy Wins by SUB or KO?

I'm super stoked to see Hardy fight again on Saturday. He's one of my favorite fighters to watch. He's been on a rough losing streak but imo he's still one of the best welterweights in the world. I would love to see him win by KO but that doesn't seem like the best strategy especially after watching Ludwig put on a clinic against Sadollah plus he has the fastest KO in UFC history so maybe it's time for Hardy to take the fight to the ground. Hardy has been saying to wants to stand and bang and see who drops first but I'm thinking this is to get Ludwig to not think about the takedown. Is Dan still a purple belt? Where does he train his jiu jitsu now? 10th planet still? I think he's gonna start standing but if he starts to lose the stand up exchanges then he's gonna shoot a double and work for a sub. If he stands, the counter back kick may be crucial. He landed a beautiful one right to Akihiri Gono's sternum in his first UFC fight so I hope he employs that in this fight because Duane loves to follow the one two hand combo with a body or head roundhouse kick so hopefully Dan's Tae Kwon Do instincts kick in. I hope to see some rubber guard in this fight too. You got this shit Dan!!!! How do you guys imagine this fight playing out?

Dan winning by a ko is a joke; right? That would never happen. Dan trains with Ricky Lundell. Now he's finally trying to add wrestling to his game.

I like Dan and he has very good standup. But Bang is on another level as far as striking. What Marcelo Garcia is to Jiu Jitsu. Bang is to striking!!! Dan will not win by ko!

I agree as far as technique but dan has the power and if he lands a good shot bang will go out. I wouldnt be surprised if Dan tried tapping bang

People are counting Hardy out but I think he has a good chance. In fact I like this fight i think it is 50/50, and I think both guys are great, and stylistically it is a good match up. If you look at their records Ludwig has been tko'd and ko'd quite a bit more than Hardy. That may be catching up with him. He was even beaten by Daley, who is one of Hardys closest friends and long time training partners. Plus Hardy will be so hungry for this W. I know his recent record has been bad but I think he has turned a corner from listening to his interviews and stuff. He certainly seems to be taking the wrestling etc more seriously. Also I can think of a few fighters now that lost 3 or 4 fights in a row then come back and got some w's.

I'm routing for Bang! Will he win...it depends on Hardys strategy. Dan's best chance to win is to use his Jiu Jitsu.

Most tko's need to be taken out of the equation. The majority of tkos are from ground n pound not stand up. Its kind of a flawed stat.

As far as stand up goes who has Dan really KO!! Take the G-N-P tkos out of it. Maybe 2 or 3 in the middle to lower ranks (fighters). Bang has fought and ko much higher caliber standup guys. Sure anything could happen in a fight, your right. But, Bang will put a clinic on Dan if it remains standing.IMO

Dan has been working with Ricky "the Hybrid" Lundell who's a "so called genius" with combining wrestling with BJJ. So I have a feeling its going to the ground.

I'm looking forward to watching this fight!!!
