Statistics From East Coast Seminar Tourney 5-6-12

Lots of information to sort through here, guys. I apologize ahead of time for any errors you may find.

Special thanks to Jon Helton for recording all of this data as the matches were going on. Jon and I tried our best to take note of everything but, inevitably, some things were missed. On top of that, it's incredibly difficult to classify most of this stuff. For instance, the Electric Chair in one case did not result in a sweep, but did end in a heel hook. Did the Electric Chair succeed? Yes, but not as a sweep; rather it succeeded as an entry to a finish. Or how do you classify the Heel Hook that was entered and finished from the bottom of mount.

Either way, enjoy! I hope you guys find this stuff as fascinating as I do!

Can you list the actually match results with times and submissions used? I still waiting to get the HD footage of the matches, should be today or saturday that I'm getting them. The files were extremely large so our camera man had to break them down further.

Now I can't wait to see the matches. The submission categories is pretty close (% wise) to what the 2011 ADCC results were. Not surprising with 10th Planet Rochester in the house. Very cool!
