Hey Guys on August 11th here in Omaha will be The Midwest Submission Challenge. This will be a sub only event using the same rules as the Gracie Worlds. So far confirmed and registered competitors already are both Ant Lopez and Matt Hester and just now John Botello!

Is NAGA Chicago a week after this?
I'll probably only be able to make one or the other so I'll have to see what the STL fam is planning on doing. Been in Japan for a few weeks so I'm not sure what their plans are. -
10th Planet omaha will be at the midwest submission challenge in full effect then i think we will gear up for NAGA St.Louis in October.

Yes NAGA Illinois is one week after and it is the probably the preferable of the two to compete in as far as getting more points to win some team titles, but I think alot of us from Chicago north will be trying to do both, but we will see how everyone's work schedules and injuries go..
It's really awesome that they have Consolation matches, after losing my first comp at NAGA Chicago this year, I spent the whole day just wanting another match even if not for anything but to compete against someone trying that hard... -
