I see people wearing tapout and I think that they might train so I ask them where or if they train and 90% of the time they ask what I mean....
I mean they had shirts that say fighters only...

Ok is it just me or is this annoying? Yes I know some wear it cus they are a fan but it seems like they have a tough guy attitude as soon as they put it on. Some of them have no idea what it represents they just like the clothes.....

At one point in time it bothered me........when the UFC first hit mainstream. But I changed my perstpective. Its about the fighters, they get sponsorship from companies like tapout,hitman,affliction,etc. The better those companys do they the better off the fighters and the sport are. I see it the same as guys wearing football jerseys, they are fans, let them spend the money, its will help us all out in the long run.

Wouldn't it be great to have fighter specific clothing like jerseys in other sports? I mean we have fighters with their own lines of clothing and their own sponsorship deals and clothing releases but nothing like other sports. Probably because people wouldnt want to rock GSP's nuthuggers haha. But hey its a thought for the future.

I'm not "complaining", it just bothers me when people think clothes make them tough... Idk.... :-/

Never really thought about it that way. Maybe if the dude is walking down the street wearing Sprawl shorts, rash guard and has his hands taped lol. Myself, I have a Team Quest shirt I wear. Never trained there, just got it cause it looked cool. However I do have a Pride FC shirt(just cause I'm that old school) with a big "PRIDE" logo on the front, I didn't think that one through well enough. Apparently not everyone who sees "PRIDE" thinks of MMA. I had to explain what I was representing a couple times lol.

well you can kind of buy fighter specific clothing....you can buy a fighter walkout shirt from each ufc fight. I guess that really about as close as you can get with mma fighters clothing lol

I love tapout/affliction gear. It lets me know where the douche bags are. Now, I'm not saying everyone who wears the stuff is a DB...but chances are they probably are.
