All of this just happened out of the blue, and it's going to be one tough fight for Hope. Some of the guys in our Relson Gracie system are doing seminars, and selling shirts to help out with the medical costs. Anything is appreciated, even a dollar! Thanks for the prayers, bro, but she passed away this morning. All of this happened within 2 weeks. Again, if anyone can spare even a dollar or two, it would be greatly appreciated. I was reading the webpage and I'm so confused. It breaks my heart as a parent (1yr and 3yr olds) to read about these things because I know this can happen to anyone - including us. She went in for chemo yesterday, seemed to have a good night sleep, and passed away today. Did something go terribly wrong? I know that this isn't really the point of this thread and you obviously don't have to go into detail, but I'm just so confused and my heart aches thinking about this. Made a small donation - it's the least I can do.

Thanks, man. We greatly appreciate it. I'm not too sure yet, on how it exactly went down. They found a tumor-like mass behind her left eye, she went in for surgery (I assume for that), then they diagnosed her with lukemia, did one round of chemo, and then it all just fell apart. I haven't talked to Chad yet, as he's still in Dallas. No parent should have to bury their child, ever! Thank you again, Chris, from the bottom of our hearts.

I hate to hear about things like this, especially since the little girl passed away. I also have a friend who's son has been battling a cancerous brain tumor for a little over a year now. They just got news yesterday that his tumor is back after a check up MRI. As a father myself it really bothers me to see children have to go through these situations. Its hard enough on a full grown adult. I cannot imagine the heartache & feel for their entire family.
