10th Planet RONIN Affiliates! No School? No Probelm!

Can someone explain what a Ronin is? Is it like a Hotbox? I searched "Ronin" in the search bar, but there are countless threads and I'm not sure which one explains what a Ronin is.

It's someone like me who is a member of another school, American Top Team in my case, but is open and incorporates 10th Planet techniques and approaches into their game. There's no 10th P school near me, so we are members here, asks questions, and attempt to attend seminars whenever we can.

A rōnin (浪人?)[1] was a samurai with no lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the death or fall of his master, or after the loss of his master's favor or privilege.

For 10th Planet a Ronin is someone who doesn't have a 10th Planet Moon or 10th Planet Hotbox in there area, but still practice the techniques via books, internet, dvds, etc.

Hey guys, im new to the 10th planet system there is no 10p locations near me. Ive been practicing my game on my grappling dummy at home and im taking bjj at a club near me. How does one become a 10th plant ronin? i have all 4 of eddies books and both dvd's that ive been referencing while i train.
