I love the Karate Kid movies, But with all the traditional martial arts being exposed as non practical in real fights. Why is the Karate Kid not the Jiu Jitsu Kid in this new movie. Yeah, that "shrimp on, shrimp off" scene would have been a blast. Unfortunately pure grappling hasn't been translated well for the big screen. Hopefully Eddie and the gang can come up with some cool ways to present the art form in the new NBD movie.

Random tidbit, my favorite presentation of jiujitsu is probably the flying triangle choke that Speed Racer does in episode 1 of the cartoon series. The camera spins 360 following him as he rolls the dude onto the ground.. still waiting for that shot to be used in a film.
