I have been working as a bouncer for 15 years as my 'other' job and I have had the chance to work hundreds of concerts over the years. I currently manage a group of 25 doormen in our cities largest nightclub. This past summer, the Misfits came for a gig. I was standing in the hall when Eric, their drummer, looked at me and said "you look like that jiu jitsu guy off You Tube. Ever hear of Submissions 101"
Pardon?
Then I asked " do you do jiu jitsu?"
Eric said "yes, been training with Renzo Gracie for 8 years now. Boy, you look like that guy."
Then I introduced myself and he asked me for a picture. Are you kidding me? How cool is that. We then chatted about jits, 10th Planet, Eddie, Gracies and a few other things before they hit the stage. Jerry Only and Dez were super cool as well.
