How many days a week do you go to JJ class?

I'm curious how many days a week you guys make it to class? I'm about to start a full time job as an associate at a local law firm and my schedule should become pretty consistent, so I'm trying to plan out my jiu jitsu days. I'm definitely going to be going either Saturday or Sunday each week, and ideally I'm thinking Tuesday and Thursday evening classes would fit well, giving me 3 days a week on the mats. 3 days a week seems like a good frequency... I'd love to hear some first-hand input?

Also, do the working folk generally go to class after work, before work, during lunch break? (lunch isn't possible for me) I think after work is probably the only time I can go, but as an attorney it's pretty difficult to predict which days I'll be required to stay late (potentially beyond the time of any BJJ class). Just trying to get a feel for peoples' routines so I can make mine as effective as possible. As usual, thanks in advance for the responses!

I go Tuesday and Thursday consistently ( after work). If I'm
Not beat up I like going wednesday nights too. I feel when i hit 3 days over 2 I progress a lot quicker. I work 9-5 and train 7-9 normally. Then it's time to go home shower , eat and crash hard

Tuesday morning, Wednesday night, Thursday morning, and open mat on Saturday.

I just upped it from 3 classes inconsistently per week. The inconsistency was messing with my cardio since I would have as many as 4 days of rest in between classes. I'm still getting acclimated to the 4 a week schedule as I'm pretty beat up and sore by Friday morning.

Just go anytime you can and keep your stuff in your car. Days you can't make it to class gear your workout to suit bjj. Also talk to the guys you train with. Chances are you're not the only one with a schedule issue.

Congrats on the job!! Got to fund the dream man

Thanks Jeremy! It will definitely be nice to have money for seminars and tournaments (the dream)! For sure I will have my stuff in my car ready to go, our Ft Lauderdale hotbox is still very new so for now Brandon and Tyler are the only ones who might be able to accommodate my late work days. They're uber dedicated training animals so I'm sure they'll be down to get some extra mat time in with me when necessary. It will be easier when we have our own gym for the hotbox, but then again Brandon has the keys to the current location so even now it's all good. I appreciate the input brotha!

I usually get 3 days as well. Its hard to juggle a full time job with overtime, family time, gym time & relax time. My normal schedule is tuesday/Thursday nights 6-8pm & Saturday open mats sessions. That gives me about 6hrs a week mat time.

I work 8:30-4:30 M-F so I'm lucky class times are when they are. I usually can get in both classes on Monday and Thursday. Wednesday and Saturday I get one in So I train 6 times, It seems to work well, you've just got to go with what fits in your schedule.

7 classes a week for me to run techs and get rolls. If I wasn't married and didn't have little ones I would train 7 days a week.
