    Choke with spinal lock

Can anybody explain to me what's choke with spinal lock?
I was going through rules by IBJJF and I found out that choke with spinal lock is legal.
Is it something similar to 'Twister'?

Guillotine choke is the main reason they have it stated that way I think. Others may include, Ninja choke, jap necktie. Anytime you crankin the spine there should also be a choke involved according to IBJJF. Yes, a RNC from twister should be allowed, but the ref may not know what he is looking at and be scared of the twister and stop you. I'm no expert on this, this is my understanding, others on this forum will be way more qualified to answer, just my 2 cents.

You can't really rnc during a twister. Half back yes. Twister implies you already cleared the head.

This rule is mainly to stop people bitchn. Some tap to pain on a legitimate choke. The next thing they do is look at the ref and say " Neck crank!"

The real question is are they classifying a cervical lock as a spinal lock. Could be a wording issue.

Short choke from back control with the anaconda/ body lock would be the obvious one.

I can read it without CAPS just as well. This is a regional term obviously. What is it?
