    2. Determine exactly what you are prepared to give to get what you desire.
I will train 6 days a week concerning myself with only triangle chokes in and out of the gym.
    3. Determine a definite date when you intend to acquire what you desire.
January 20, 2013 I will win Gracie Nationals and on (date hasn’t been set) I will win Gracie Worlds.
    4. Create a definite plan to acquire what you desire and begin at once whether you are ready or not to put this plan into action.
I will only work on triangle choke finishes and set ups. I will drill a specific series ending in a triangle choke finish at least 20 times a day and finish only with triangles during free roll.
    5. Write out a clear and concise statement of the amount of that you desire and name the time limit for its acquisition. State what you intend to give in return for the desire and describe clearly the plan in which you intend to accumulate it.
I will have won Gracie Worlds, Gracie Nationals, and 2 minor competitions at the blue belt level in Gi and No Gi by this time next year. I will do this by triangle choking every opponent I face. I will accomplish this goal by drilling and working on a triangle choke from every position each day that I am at Jiu-Jitsu.
    6. Read your written statement aloud twice daily, before you go to sleep, and when you wake up. As you read, see and feel yourself already in possession of what you desire.
    Yep.
    Thank you for this.

Purchase Master Eddie's books and read them cover to cover.

Find a solid school in Boston with a reliable no gi program that doesn't require a blue belt.

Make friends who are willing to rep 10th planet material on off days.

Travel to 10th planet Hartford once a month to make sure I'm still rolling with 10th planet brethren.

Travel to 10th planet Rochester every 3 to 4 months to keep learning under coach Herzog. I still want to get my blue belt under him.

Learn the requirements for a Hotbox and see if I can open one up in Boston by the end of 2013.

Drop to 200lbs. Win a gold before the end of 2013.

Time and money permitting, this is what I want to do.

Well...I grew up in a family of obesity, and diabetes...So my goal is to break the cycle.

We have terrible metabolisms, so my diet is shit...Not literally, I don't eat like dog shit or whatever, but like the food I eat is good for me, but really bad tasting shit... I train every single day working as hard as I can, and don't lose much weight, but still trying as much as I can feeling that testosterone pumpin' more each time so I know I'm making good progress. And Eddie's music is a HUGE motivation for some reason.

I was a lil fat kid growing up, and I got picked on at school, and I didn't do anything, because I was always a wimpy guy.. I had, and still don't have any friends.. Every time we have a family get together my uncle is always braggin' about his 3 kids who are all karate brown belts... And about how athletic they are, and shit. And it makes me feel bad for my dad, so I want, and need this so I can get good, and have my dad brag for a change..(I can take his boys, since I got 10P, and GJJ, and all they know is karate. )

So training in Jiu Jitsu, and other martial arts makes me feel like a better person.. Makes me feel confident..So my goal is to change myself for the better, and to get more athletic, so I can raise in the ranks, so that one day I can teach my kids, and not have them go through the shit I did, and not have them grow up like I did. I want to be free of the cycle, free of the stigma.

(And having good martial arts skills means that if I'm heckled while doing comedy, and I respond, and make the dude want to tear my head off I can kick some ass )

Just got back into training about a year now after a 4 year lay off (had a kid, moved across the country multiple times, etc...) and got back to eating right about 4 months ago and lost 35 lbs, now my goal is to make 155 lbs for the East Coast Training camp in October

Technique wise to just keep refining my game, add techniques that fit my style and keep coaching up the guys at 10th Planet Hartford, since we have launched Hartford 2.0 a month ago we have picked up a bunch of new students and it's going great, me and mike will get these guys ready and will make the team even stronger

i need to dial in this damn leg drag pass i've been working. i just can't seem to settle in with the heavy shoulder pressure in time right after I nail the pass.

BJJ goals will have to remain moment to moment until I can get my business up and going.

my goal was to make blue by the first east coast camp back in march i think it was. also to win atleast one match between two tourneys i did. i trained pretty hard 3 days week. felt pretty good and was getting close to blue. ended up losing both tourneys to stupid stuff i shouldnt of got caught with. didnt make blue by the camp which is ok. between then and now i havent trained as hard, i was getting a little burned out and kept getting injury after injury.

new goal is to hopefully stay injury free, train 3 days a week now until the next east coast camp and make blue for that. so we'll see how it goes!

My main goal is to be good at something, to be productive... my work, what I do is what/who I am. My goal is not to "have fun" or "be happy" necessarily. I'd really like to get a copy of the Mastering the Twister DVD that should be out THIS MONTH?!!! (Woot)

I find this ted talk to be interesting, along these lines.

My goal is to get good at everything i can so i can pass it on to my kids and set them up better than i was set up. I didn't have anyone make me get into sports, and i regret it. Not gonna happen with my kids. My 4 year old daughter already has an armbar that legitimately makes me afraid. Keepin up the grind.
