"Hanno may be the nicest guy in the world but he lied to me and told me he got his bjj black belt in 1997 in New York. He even sent me the certificate but it was for a JJJ black belt. So I asked him again, are you a bjj black belt or jjj black belt? and he insisted that he was a bjj black belt. Then I told him in an email that I would put a hold on his affiliation until I got solid proof of his bjj black belt, but I never did so I decided to not return any of his emails until he sent solid proof."

One email after another came, a bunch of emails asking me what I was gonna do about his affiliation and he sent me a bunch of different testimonials from people backing up his character but no proof. So I just ignored every single email hoping he would get the hint that I can't have anyone repping 10th Planet if they are lying about their rank. But he kept sending emails and I kept ignoring them hoping to avoid what's going on now, a public checking.

If he would have just told me the truth about his bjj rank everything would have been fine. Or if he would've just understood that when someone doesn't return any of your emails it means that you should just leave it alone.

Let me answer my question myself by quoting Eddies earlier reply.
It is clear that Hanno does indeed have a JJJ Black belt - He sent Eddie his certificate
It is clear that Hanno applied for affiliation
There was an obvious confusion as far as the JJJ / BJJ ranking is concerned - Hanno is not an idiot!! - He obviously was under a misconception
Hanno sent Eddie a ton of emails hoping to get some answers, but Eddie admits not answering any of them "So I just ignored every single email hoping he would get the hint " - Hanno wasn't looking for hints - he was looking for answers - which he never got up to the time this thread was posted
Eddie mailed Alder about Hannos affiliation being denied - not Hanno - Alder didn't even give Hanno a hint !
As far as Hanno was concerned his aplication was still pending
Hanno actually did the online Brown belt grading - without ever spending a single day at an affiliated 10th planet school - how many of you can do that ?

How many times in this thread have I told you guys how many times any of us using 10th planet teqniques gets insulted and made fun of by the BJJ students here in Cape Town - how it gets reffered to as 10th planet shit----this doen't seem to bother anyone !!
Funny how you don't say anything nice when you get told that Hannos students kicks ass at every comp with the "10th planet shit" he teaches them.

I'm wondering why isn't Hanno defending himself, instead of, apparently every other Jiu Jitsu practioner in Cape town coming to his defense, and why do they all have only a few posts? Can Scott or one of the other guys IP them and see if they are all coming from the same place, pc wise. Its an oldy but goody trick to use multiple screen names to get your point across/ defend someone.
