Is 10th planet rank recognized under any BJJ Federation?

If I remember correctly there was some issue when Denny first got his black belt, about a requirement that needed Eddie to be registered under IBJJF as well in order for them to consider Denny's Black belt legit. They got it sorted out and he took 3rd in the nogi Mundials a couple months after getting his black.

IBJJF lists there requirements online its something about a blalckbelt ID card. it Only applies to black belts for all the other ranks they take you at your word.

I know some guys will not honor our belts in a gi academy, a friend of mine recently went to check out another local gi gym and the instructor told him we do submission grappling NOT BJJ. But thats at an academy not a tourney

Its recognized or else no 10th planet guy would have been able to compete in the ibjjf no gi worlds. And we have multiple champions from that one
