Farewell to HQ, Hello North West

Friends,

I wanted to take a second to reflect on much I have appreciated the last two years of training with Eddie and all the people of 10th Planet HQ. First of all, I need to thank Eddie for being a fantastic coach, mentor and teacher. The dedication that he shows to all his students, be they members of an affiliate, hot box or just secret fans who practice in basements and garages is unparalleled. I can not enumerate how much I have learned from him about jiu jitsu, myself and the nature of the world and I look forward to learning much more.

To all my friends and partners, I thank you for your honesty, your work ethic, and your help in making me a better grappler. I look forward to visiting you all in the future, but for now my road has led me to Portland, Oregon and so this letter is as much a goodbye as it is a hello to the 10th Planet's of the Pacific Northwest.
