There is a small local tournament coming up at the first of September and everything was going according to plan, looking like I'd be able to make weight with no difficult cuts, feeling real good about my takedowns and sweeps. Then my daughter catches an upper respiratory virus over the weekend and now it looks like I have it too. Fever, congestion, aches all over. She was out with it for about 5 days and I think I'm at day 3.
I'm trying to figure out what I can do to still prepare but also give my body the rest it needs to fight this off. Right now I'm at 175 lbs and I'd need to cut to 165 to make weight. Weigh ins are next Friday and I have the entire day of to cut any remaining weight, and the weigh in site is like 10 mins away from my house.
Any advice 10P?
