My concern is just getting the unders, securing the Lockdown, and then whipping as fast as possible, before they can start to unwind their leg. Good guys are crazy good at passing, and also at defeating the lockdown. That's good for them, but if I can send them flying with the whip first, they have no time to do that. So for me, the lockdown is all about speed. If I had more diverse strategies, or were better at regaining it, I could spend more time there, but I'm not that good. If I have one under I go right to new stomp, if I have two I whip.

So I don't feel it fits in my game. I can however testament to it's pain inducing capabilities. Isac but me in it, and even if I'm a badass, (I am, really, you must believe me), I started sweating, letting out funny sounds, and flailed my arms around a little, like an injured penguin. (Don't laugh, I'm hard, I'm telling you!)

Maybe one use could be as a distraction, before the jaws of life, or stomp?

didnt think people would troll just in case. umm lets see, as far as the ankle heel thing goes the reason why it looks so dangerous is just me, i have hyperflexibility especially in my ankles hips and shoulders. so i get my ankles around almost 270 degrees comfortably. i really dont think that far is actually necessary but for me its quite comfortable because i feel i have more control. as far as the knee goes, ive never had any problem with it. scientifically i have no idea why not but maybe thats got something to do with the flexibilty aswell. ill keep on looking into it, maybe i can figure out why.

and in reply to brandon, why i put my toes in instead of just the heel, is of course partially because of control, it feels like im wrapping around their leg more but the other side to it is that when i wrap my foot in that way it puts my shin bone against the back of their leg which causes major discomfort if not a tap, also because of the pain people are more likely to stop resisting and therefore you have more control. ill give the heel one a go, but i tried seeing if i could get a kind of calf crank going already and i found it really hard, maybe jsut changing the timing but i found i was pushing him on me while trying to reach for the leg and i couldnt really reach it in time to get any control.

and to david, cheers man im definitly going to keep tweaking it but i thought id put it up on here and see what others thought of it, maybe they can see what needs tweaked easier than i can. with the switch to normal lockdown, its really not a big chance at all for the opponent to pass because your other leg still has really quite a good control. just do a tight leg curl and you can pull the leg out and put it back in before they know whats happened, once again not 100% but high percentage id say.

and as for videos, i dunno who else was taking them but i think magnus got some videos of me showing the guys in sweden, olafs facials would be worth the video in itself but yeah if they could possibly put them up it would be wicked.

and to dan conway, its really good for long legs and its twists them more around the opponents leg, but i have stubs with feet on the end and it still works fine for me so yeah, as far as advantages go maybe this is better for long legs.

i hope i answered everything, im gunna keep on working on it and im still trying to get videos up of rolling with it. i tapped a few guys yesterday with it though, just no videos. thanks for all the input btw
