I liked Galvaos side of the video..Ryron's seemed almost fake..Like he didnt want to show how he was truly preparing.

I don't have faith in Ryron. He said, "I'm going to keep it playful... Galvao's gonna have to finish me." That sounds like his gameplan is to stalemate. And in the trailer he said something similar. No mention that he's going to try to finish. It's like he's acting like, I have nothing to prove. Galvao does. I don't need to tap him. He has to tap me. "Which is unlikely," according to him. IDK man. Ryron might turn in a stinker.

Well if he thinks he is playing I have bad news for Ryron, Andre Galvao doesn't fuck around. He isn't going to play with him, Galvao is going to better conditioned, more aggressive and a lot physically stronger. I see him just being to much if Andre can drag him into deep water.

I'm speaking as a TRUE Andre Galvao fan and I know that my opinion here is not going to be the popular one... I'm just looking at this from a non-biased perspective.

Andre Galvao has a much better chance at winning the match... let's face it, he is obviously the superior athlete, and if this were a points match Galvao wins it 95 out of 100... if it were a NoGi match, those odds would be much greater.

Ryron comes from a lineage where these crazy fucks will fight for four hours straight if they need to. The Gracie style of Jiu Jitsu is typically, survive, survive, survive..... STRIKE. It is not wise to think that a fifth degree black belt is going to be a slouch against any opponent. You also have to remember that it is going to be in the gi... with handles and collars... Ryron has a shot at making the upset.

I'm still gonna put my money on Andre Galvao... but I think it will be a competitive fight...

On a final note, I feel that Ryron is being smart by speaking the way he is speaking... he is not putting any added pressure on himself, and Andre's camp is probably thinking that Ryron is scared Could potentially be a mental game.

Yeah I think Ryron is trying to play it cool and keep the pressure off of himself, but I think he's training harder than he is making it sound. You don't carry people on your back up a sand dune very easily. Trust me if you have never walked on a sand dune, that shit aint easy.

ETA - I know that even Gracies can be beat, but I am sure his family is laying heavy pressure on him too. At least I speculate that they are laying pressure on him.
