Well i will be there...flying in Friday morning (going to see a client) then flying home Saturday night. VJ normally coaches me but since he won't be there, if anyone wants to coach me, that would be awesome. Just need eyes where I cant see them, I tend to "blackout" during my matches. lol. Afterward, I'm like...what happened!? Good luck to everyone there competing! I will look for ya'll. I'm doing women's nogi intermediate (if no competitors then advanced). It would be my first advanced match ever, sooooooo...ugh, what am I doing?! I should not have committed to this tourney w/o my coach!!!

Thanks Herb. You'll do fine, just stick to your guns, and in the end it all about exposing your areas for improvement.
And to Meg, it's cool to go to advanced as well. You'll find that you learn so much faster jumping in the deep end. But see if Herb has time to video record your matches because then you can take it home and dissect your performance. You can even post to this site and have people critique it for free. -slk

That's awesome. I wish I were still in the area. David Ginaberg(btt) is in Cambridge. Good people and they have a gal named Jyren who would host you for sure.
If you can get to Bridgewater, Chris Palmquist and Joa Lauzon are good people and do 10th stuff..

I'll have two cameras, I was going to have one on tripod and ask one of my friends to hold the other. I can def loan one of my cameras so that we can film ur matches in case our times criscross (I weighed in today too, it took me almost 2 hrs to fight traffic from Chelmsford to Boston guess it's some End of Summer/Fall transition thing). Sry I missed ya for dinner, def lots of great places to eat around here. Anyhoo get some sleep, tom we rep!!!
