As someone that has been to Saudi 4 times, I wouldn't call it a false religion. It is their religion and we should respect it as that if we expect others to respect ours. It doesn't matter which came first. It is not the religion's fault, or even the people. It is the radicals, who are the overwhelming minority, that feed on chaos and disinformation. I agree that we can't trust their government, especially since the crown prince took over, but that doesn't mean we should condemn the people as a whole. Just like we don't want them condemning us for the transgressions of Bush or Obama, or whoever.
