Anyone Ever Been Bit While Rolling, Or Am I The First ?

So I'm rolling at open mat tonight, moving from partner to partner. I am on my 3rd partner, a 15 year old yellow belt. I've rolled with him a few times, never really like to because he goes balls to the wall. He's one of those guys that his ego gets in the way, gets pissed when I roll all over him. He hates losing to a 12 year old. But I'm getting ready for NAGA in couple weeks, so I figure I can use a spaz to get me ready.

I'm going about 75 percent, rolling thru moves for about 10 minutes. I can see he's getting more and more pissed because he can't tap. I just keep practicing, going to a finish move, let it go and work for something else. I wasn't even making him tap, I just got it to a point I knew I could and gave it up and worked for something else.

I rolled up into a mounted triangle, and I laid my hand across his face to push his head to one side while I pushed his arm across to tighten up triangle. Than BANG !!!!!!!! He freakin
bites me......HARD !!!!! Draws blood. I didn't even think and smashed him in the face with a hard right hand. And yelled "are you kidding me you bit me? !!!" My instructor saw everything and dissinfected my hand. The kids eye was swelled shut within 2 minutes.

Probably not the best reaction, but have never faced that.......So I ask, anyone ever been bit?

Thats what happens when you bite people. Never happened to me but your reaction was warranted. At least you didnt give him an elbow and split him open.

My girlfriend got bit by her former instructor in the inner thigh... he likes to do that kind of stuff... maybe it's his JKD background or his weird (but usually friendly) personality

I think you handled it well. There are few circumstances in life where you will have a green light to throttle somebody. This was one of them.

Conner - well played! I also would like to note that I have read all your posts on this forum and the old one and you seem to be a very mature 12yr old. Each of your posts have been an entertaining read. Keep all those other youngsters with no discipline or respect in check!
