Lyoto vs Henderson in the works

    http://www.fightersonlymag.com/conte...next-says-dana

If this materializes, I like this fight a lot. Machida is wrestlebox kryptonite. If it's a 5 rounder, I could see Machida winning by sub in the 4/5th round.. Counter straight that stuns Hendo, trip to the ground...and tap the exhausted Hendo.

    Thoughts? Predictions?

I agree. Looks like Hendo may have lost his last chance at that belt with that knee injury

i think Machida would probably follow Anderson's Silvas earlier gameplan when he faced Hendo and try to go to ground and then sub him, but I haven't seen as much of his ground game as Silva's so I don't really know how well it will work against Hendo. I'm sure Machida will be picking Silva's brain though.

Or it could go like Shogun vs Machida 2 and he can get blitzed by Henderson and lights out.

Shogun didn't blitz him. He countered one of Machida's trademark punches. I'm going to guess that he tightened that hole up (no homo). I mean, Jones stunned him with a punch. Bader tried the same one and Machida put up the block. I'm sure Machida knows how to fix his mistakes. And in the striking department, Hendo is no Shogun.

Bad news for hendo. I doubt he can hit machida and after a few rounds of chasing him Down he will be gassed and picked apart

This^^^. Hendo has lost a step. He's not as much of a threat with his wrestling. Compared to his younger years.
