    Steve Maxwell's S&C for grapplers

My buddy gave me this DVD a few days ago, I had heard about it before but wasn't too interested in trying it but as I got it for free i figured I'd give it a try. Today was the first day I did the routine and I found it to be pretty brutal. I was just wondering if anyone else follows or does follow this particular strength and conditioning programme? Don't wanna put myself through that 2/3 times a week if it isn't all that good for my jits game!

I know that Steve Maxwell is regarded as one* of the best kettlebell instructors out there.

From what I can see on you tube it's kettlebells and body weight work outs, both will help your game immensely.

Kettlebells are good for real world strength and grip and body weight exercises are good for speed and building lean muscle.

I do both, but what works for my body type might not work for your body type. Try it for a month or two.
