look into super cropping! its easy and does no damage to plant! you just bend the plant over to what ever height you need, she still has at least 1-2 weeks of stretch left before upward growth slows right down.

remember that plants continue to grow even when flowering, so always account for that before you switch cycles. Pruning is real importnat for this reason, because the fewer branches you have the better results you will get from the ones you keep. Bending is ok, but even when you bend, the plant still wants to go straight up. IF you always have a height constraint, I would google the "Screen of Green" method.

Especially blue dream wants to stretch after it is flipped to 12/12. Screen of green or sea of green is preferable for most strains IMO but only if you are not concerned about your number of plants. You need more plants per light footprint to get the same yield out of a s.o.g. setup. On the other hand you can put in a lot less veg time and still get just as good or better yields, so at the end of the year you produced maybe a whole run more.

When pruning a more trad shaped bushy plant I'd remove the lower third branches and the lower third bud sites and stems from each branch. Leave about 5 nodes or bud sites on each branch. Especially with a lower watt bulb the light will never penetrate enough to harden the interior or lower buds.

I never advize stressing a plant by topping it while its in flower, in veg for sure, but not flower. You could try bending or lst'ing the branches.

This is fairly variable depending on strain.

Controlling height is a common necessity but in terms of how you want to shape your plants overall, it depends on your general room plan.

Yields are usually measured in grams/watt (by growers, the seeds banks have little choice but to list per plant but they know full well it dosent mean much) so in order to achieve good yields in that sense you need to adequately fill your light footprint. Whether its better for you to do that with one monster bush or a dozen plants s.o.og. depends on a number of factors but generally tops are where its at and more plants with less veg time will give bigger yields and allow for more runs per year. I like plants with about five tops and 18-36 inches tall with 1000 watt light (if you're not doing s.o.g.)

Topping no, no in flower if you can help it in anyway. Especially ones the node have stacked.

super cropping is best done in veg as well but is a better option than topping in flowering if you have to do something.

That being said, I see many outdoor plants every year that are "accidentally super-cropped" in flowering and they seem to benefit from it non the less. Still wouldn't recommend it though.
