Any other indoor "gardeners"? I'm having an issue...

I have a beautiful lady who's just a week into flowering and already outgrowing her tent. Still far enough from the light so she's not getting burned, yet... Any ideas on ghetto rigging a larger tent? Or should I try to just bend her around the light and hope for the best? My biggest concern is keeping the smell contained (my current setup uses an activated carbon air scrubber), I have plenty of actual "room".

What watt light are you using? I'm assuming its an HPS. What cfm is your fan? Is the room that the tent is inside also ventilated. What are the ambient temps like in your part of the country right now? First week of flowering is not too late to try some super cropping to control height. Also a good time to consider if you want to top the plant in hopes of encouraging multiple top colas.

You can construct chambers or tents by making a frame out of pvc and covering it with black and white poly (panda film). Use a closet dowel instead of pvc for the piece that your hood will hang from. Even with sch 80 pvc the weight and heat will make pvc bend over time. Just make the cube (rectangular cube) and then use gorilla tape and panda film to cover the structure like wrapping a giant present. Then get some stick on zippers fro the hardware store to make one side a hugh door.

Cut some holes for your ducting and thats it.

DO NOT use plant growth regulators!

Send me a pm if you want more help, good luck.

look into super cropping! its easy and does no damage to plant! you just bend the plant over to what ever height you need, she still has at least 1-2 weeks of stretch left before upward growth slows right down.

remember that plants continue to grow even when flowering, so always account for that before you switch cycles. Pruning is real importnat for this reason, because the fewer branches you have the better results you will get from the ones you keep. Bending is ok, but even when you bend, the plant still wants to go straight up. IF you always have a height constraint, I would google the "Screen of Green" method.

I just topped her this morning, I'll post some pics closer to harvest. She's gonna be gorgeous!
