Just want to come here to say "thank you" to Mr. Eddie Bravo. Hope this message gets to him. You see my daughter is 9 years old and has been doing BJJ for 2 years now. She is currently a yellow/orange belt. But I always tell her don't worry about the belt colors as long as you play your game. She only started competing in tournament this year and to this date only have 5 tournaments under her belt. She is in the 60-69 lbs division. From the start, she has been going against kids that has alot more experience than her and most are bigger and heavier than her. So I was looking around online for a "system" or "techniques" that will help her even up the odds a little. Being a girl and only weighs 62 lbs and just started training, she needed to have a "system" where she can understand clearly what the each moves are for and what transitions are possible. Sometimes, I watch kids at her gym just learn individual techniques and can't really put all the puzzle together. It takes them years to truly get it. But most often kids quit before they can really enjoy what BJJ is really about, whether on their own will or their parents just aren't patience enough to stick around while their kids getting beat all the time at practice. This happens to my nephew. Anyways, although my daughter was picking up things faster than the regular kids, because we practice all the time, she was still under size going into the tournaments. So one day I was browsing around online and found 1 of your youtube vid. Then I found 2, then 3, then 4...and on and on....about the blessed Rubber Guard.
Now I've never took any formal martial arts training, but I do study every Bruce Lee's films and been watching UFC for the past 15 years and kind of understand what works and what is just BS out there. So when I found your vids, I study them over and over, and keep on searching for more. Or whomever had a vid out there that is applying the Rubber Guard. It didn't take me long to realized that you, my friend, are a genious!!!!!!! You develope a system whereby a little person can actually compete against a bigger person. You develope a system whereby you can get a 9 year old kid to learn BJJ fast and can comprehend what they are doing. Well this is a vid of my daughter pulling off your Rubber Guard after only a week of practicing it.

Its been almost a month now since we discover your rubber guard and been practicing it everyday. She is now much much more flexible and have alot more confidence in her game now. In sparring, only the very big boys are able to pass her guard. In this past tournament (Battle of H-town) she tapped out all 6 of the boys that are in her division. I feel that in another month or two, her Rubber Guard will improve that much more and we are looking to order that book you that you mention on the vids. I can't seem to find them anywhere. I know that you have more in the Rubber Guard system that are not on the youtube vids. More info on the book will greatly appreciated. Thank you so much..... Bruce
