    Batista/Cesar Gracie

It's old news but former WWF/E champ Dave "Batista" has joined the Cesar Gracie camp and is in talks with Strikeforce, for a multi fight deal. My question is, what's with all the freakshow fights lately? Canseco, James Toney, Marius Pudhsgfhdhwsbduhdhs... Bobby Lashley is horrible but atleast he has a wrestling background. What is Cesar thinking?

^^ I agree some have failed, but I would argue that Brock Lesnar proved that not all from other sports are guaranteed freak shows. And Lashley had/has great potential, just his last fight he lost in the second round, as can happen to anyone.

I trained at the same gym as him, when he was here. I know a few guys that worked out with him regularly, and he seemed like a nice dude, but I never heard him once say anything about martial arts. I hate to say it, but he may be a bandwagon guy. but, he is a hard worker, and dedicated to whatever he does, maybe Dave'll do well (though I swear I heard people call him Mark at the gym)
