Ah, the idea that throwing a flurry of undisciplined punches "really hard" is going to somehow end a fight with a professional so quickly that they can't retaliate or stop it.

I think everyone who thinks that they are magically tough because they think so, need to be humbled like this.

From that angle it is tough to see if it actually was an elbow. I think it was a stiff short hook cross that hit the thai fighter and caught him. He then paid in a funny way. I think the guy was rocked from the two clean head kicks. Based on how little his body compressed with those unblocked kick the thai fighter went easy on him.

Elbows are very much so allowed in Muay Thai, but a lot of fighters refrain from using them since most fighters have to fight to make a living and can't when they are healing from cuts. To throw an elbow in training or a match is like saying "come on mother fucker, bring it. I don't respect you or that you need to make a living." Dude threw the wrong gauntlet and you can see after he threw it, how much more serious the real fighter got, then proceeded rearrange the "brawler's" face/life/soul.

i dont think thats true unless every pro fight ive see of muay thai online are full of mean guys fighting, cause all of them used elbows.
