I can fully understand old school instructors not accepting the 10p system, that is what a group of us ran into in Effingham, IL. so 2 days a week we would do it there way and 2 days a week we did it 10p way out of my garage. In time we grew a little bigger and a few more people, then got a bigger location and got mats and started training and drilling what we wanted to drill since there is no 10p gym in our area. Best thing I can tell you is, they are 100% right, you need to drill and get your reps in, TONS of reps, 5 hours a day isnt enough. We pushed to 5 days a week training. You can do tons of conditioning, but need to build that muscle memory or in a tournament the 10p system will be way more work then how easy that eddie makes it look. its doing it thousands of times. I'd say get his books, his dvd sets, this website, youtube, and spend hours researching, then get a good group of friends and spend hours drilling it, and you will then begin to scratch the surface. It will become a lifestyle and I'm very grateful to be able to do it and learn from 10p.
