I just watched the video again and didn't hear Xande say that. Do you have a direct quote to reference?

That wasn't a quote, those were my thoughts. I think Xande said it best in his interview and I would add that you have to understand the position, at least how to defend and escape it. You cannot ignore a fight ending position that others are using even if you do not use it in your game.
