I was lucky enough to be adopted for the week by Brandon McCaghren and his team. He brought a couple of guys in to my gym, to train, for the night , it was nice seeing our guys pushed because we're not used to the game that these guys play. I think training at different gyms is vital and he welcomed us in anytime to his mats.
They went completely out of their way to make me feel so welcomed and at home in Decatur. Not only did I get some really great training in, he helped tweak my smount game and iron out some basics, I needed to look back at. It was refreshing having someone so passionate and caring help me and my Jiu Jitsu. His classes are structured and fun, and he is definitely raising an army of technical, solid fighters.
The seminar put on by Eddie and 10thp Decatur was awesome, and time went by way too fast. We had 5 guys from my gym go to the seminar. It definitely changed their game up, left them wanting to learn more of the system.
If you guys are ever anywhere close to these guys, stop in and get on the mats. His love of Jiu Jitsu is contagious, be warned though, they might possibly convince you to move to Alabama.
