First acceptance

Today I got my first acceptance letter, I'm Getting seriously close to being plunged into adulthood, stay posted because I'll probably be bothering you guys for advice on starting a jiu jitsu club

Congrats. Most schools will be afraid of anything combat centric and will have a hard time differentiating JJ from MMA and its stigma. Stress its ties to judo and wrestling and you should be good as long as they don't have to many clubs going.

We had a MMA club at Humboldt State. Long story short now its the wrestling club.

You just have to get an instructor to "sponsor" the club. They really just have to sign off.

The school has a well established boxing club with it's own boxing room with a ring and stuff so I don't think starting an mma club will be to hard

Good luck. Boxing and wrestling are still more accepted than MMA, unfortunately.

In the list of clubs and orgs it states there is an mma club and grappling club, but It lacked structure and might of went under, but here comes structure, the school is lock haven universty btw
